people are soooooo nice here! as you know i just started work at zest lunchbar, and its been great so far. anouva from work invited me to go on a hike with her because she knows a lot of the trails around and just outside of queenstown. this was definitely a hard one for me to start on, luckily it was short, yet BEAUTIFUL!
we met at zest, and ran into jenny, workin on a weekend...anyhoo, it's a short drive out to the south of queenstown past jack's point. it was about a 30-45 minute climb to the top, and there's this amazingly cold mountain spring running down. wye creek is a really popular rock climbing spot and we stopped to be amazed by these crazy folks scaling the remarkables. i'd like to do all that but i think i should try getting in a little better shape first.

beautiful crystal clear mountain spring water! it was delicious.
anouva ~ so this is literally us walking on a pipe topped with two 2x4s hanging on to the railing looking down the mountain that rolls all the way down to the lake. thrilling!
if this place wasn't real, i'd want to make it up.
